Beholdest the mote

Judge not lest ye be judged
For with what measure
ye shout “lock her up”
That same law shall be used
in judgment against ye.

A silly man asked,
“Why beholdest the mote in thy brother’s eye?”
The humble genius answered,
“If thou beholdest the mote first,
Then shout loudly,
Then pay sycophants to shout loudly in turn,
Most will look where you point
And never notice the plank in your own.”
