Oddly, the plethora of (mostly execrable) 'revolution' films targeting young adults over the last 20 years produced primarily by Americans tended to include a female villain as primary or secondary evil... Narnia, the 'Divergent' series, 'Maze Runner' series, and the final portions of Hunger Games (which president did Catniss kill?), among many others....coincidental? Odd that so many young adults had an unreflective dread of a certain politician whose electoral prospects depended largely on exciting and mobilizing that crowd of voters.
In 2016, Hillary proposed hiking federal minimum wages to $12/hr, Bernie proposed $15/hr, and Trump would mean keeping it at $7.25/hr (where it remains now). I wonder if "revolutionaries" who do not see the difference between $7.25/hr and $12/hr for millions of Americans chose not to see...
