I had to google 'Matt Gunman' - because it's simply inconceivably surreal for a network to dispatch a reporter with such a surname to cover a story like this. You meant 'Matt Gutman,' right?

The questions certainly don't make a favorable impression as you present them. I wonder if they failed to edit that out, or just didn't have anything better to broadcast. The disbelieving tone might have been intended to serve some other point that Gutman intended to make but forgot to ask about, or which would have explained the question - "You would have reported your grandson...to whom? What's the red flag system in Texas?"

Re the monkey pox story...I hope that the story of a journalist stumbling over his own tongue and failing to check his own biases or bigotry will be the end of that story.
