I agree that the most important thing is figuring out how to connect with others. Seems to me that both hype (AI will solve everything!) and fear (AI is coming to enslave us all) impede connection - sure, one can amass followers by such tricks, temporarily...

My hope with this sonnet was to deflate some hype - while pricking at some of the fears. And to practice a form I've eschewed (my iambic pentameter is neither iambic nor metrical)...and ultimately to connect to writers (or become a writer) who will help build this world into something better.
